Sažetak
Bone defects in the alveolar ridge are atrophic tissue areas of lower bone density or volume. Xenografts are materials from equine, bovine or porcine sources that are deproteinized and contains no organic substance and is risk free of disease transmission. In this research our aim is to histologically assess newly formed bone after guided bone regeneration as a method of alveolar socket preservation following tooth extraction.
