Sažetak
If we are looking for the concept that dominates the ample, contemporary literature on the future prospects of science and education, it is undoubtedly the notion of integration. The buzzword of our age, it is signalling a fundamental structural changes affecting the entire realm of sciences and in particularly humanities, who could either accept more profitable types of research or slowly vanish from the radar of socially relevant sources of knowledge. The consequences of such a pressure are certainly devastating, but it is also true that by sticking to traditional methodologies and disregarding demands for more comprehensive insights into the objects of their research, humanities cannot meet knowledge requirements of the contemporary society. Rethinking the 20th century art history from that perspective, we defined our long-term investigations of Croatian post-war art, architecture and popular culture as an interdisciplinary research on a profound political, industrial and cultural transformation of Yugoslav society from 1950s to mid-1970s. The thorough examination of the interrelations among different and parallel social and intellectual processes at the time, provided us with the much more comprehensive view on the Croatian post-war cultural landscape, but also revealed a numerous "blind spots" that cannot be reached without still another methodological turn. It complies with the concept of post-humanities and assumes the integration of methodologies among sciences, the use of different ICT tools, but also the range of quite complicated theoretical and practical problems that will be also discussed in this paper.
