Sažetak
Background and aim: Women have poorer outcomes in acute coronary syndrome (ACS) due to older age, comorbidities, atypical presentation and delay in admission. The aim is to study gender differences in PCI outcomes in the Croatian branch of the ISACS-CT registry. Methods: From January 2012 to February 2017, 1808 patients were enrolled in the Croatian branch of the ISACS-CT, 845 (46%) presenting with STEMI. PCI of the culprit lesion only was performed in 70% (n=594) of the STEMI patients, treatment of two lesions in one procedure in 12% (n=97), and more than two lesions in 2% (n=19).
