Sažetak
In this paper, the authors point out the diferences between the leading classification systems in the field of the study of addiction. They also point the epidemiology, aethiology and phenomenology of alcohol consumption. They also emphasise the sociocultural narrative as one oh the generators of alcohol drinkinghabits (the role of the family and society, media and marketing). The above-mentioned categories are examples of both positive and negative sociocultural approaches and perspectives on the problem of juvenile drinking. The paper examines the processes by which institutions and civil society, through other social systems, helps the family and the individual, by creating culture of responsible drinking, and by that, it can reduce this significant, public health pathology.
