Sažetak
The article deals with the recordings of Abraham of Suzdal and Simeon of Suzdal about thier stay in Florence in the 15th century during the Council of Florence. The author analyzes how the enthusiastic reception of alien culture and vice versa its complete rejection reflected in the language of the recordings. Evaluative judgments are given in the context of Western anthropocentric culture with emerging individualism opposing Russian theocentric culture.
