Sažetak
Networked virtual reality (NVR) services with integrated multimedia components and perceived &#8221 ; ; real-time&#8221 ; ; interactivity impose certain Quality of Service (QoS) requirements at the user/application level as well as on the underlying network. In this paper we are concerned with measuring end-to-end performance parameters for NVR services and determining the effect of various network conditions on user perceived quality. We discuss measurements performed in an emulated network environment on four heterogeneous NVR applications. Test procedures have been outlined and results have been analyzed to determine the network requirements of each application.
