Sažetak
The work presents a short theoretical review of the residual element influence on the steel plasticity and gives the comparison of the relations of the allowed residual element quantities in steel, given in the world literature. Our research, carried out by tensile test and torsion test methods in the temperature range 800-1250°C, proved that residuals had a bad influence on the plasticity and yield stress, of the casting structure, depending on ingot size and the influence was more obvious on deformed structure.
