Sažetak
This paper presents the directions for the research at the plastic metal and alloy forming, i.e. simulation methods of research. That refers to the interaction of the research systems, as physical modelling and simulation as well as computer controlled simulation related to the material, forming procedure and application. These directions of plastic forming technology emphasize the combination of two or more process stages of quite different character. They are also acknowledged in the development of the technologies of CSP (Compact Strip Production), ISP (Inline Strip Production) and CPR (Casting, Pressing, Rolling).
