Sažetak
Tests have been conducted on samples of nonwoven fabric that are used as a part of basic coating on the seats of personal automobiles. Most important properties that are strictly controlled according to world standards have been tested, and substantial variety of nonwoven fabric samples used in automobile industry has been ascertained. According to obtained results it can be determined that the properties of nonwoven fabric samples are adjusted to demands imposed on certain parts of basic coating. Therefore it can be concluded that nonwoven fabric is an irreplaceable fabric for the production of basic automobile coatings, and the advantage over woven fabric is the fact that it is easier to achieve desired properties with a lower price per product unit.
