Sažetak
Saint John Paul II was a great man, remarkable Pope, and he was also a distinguished philosopher. Looking at his writings, we can easily see how his philosophical knowledge contour his thinking. However, St. John Paul II was also a great communicator of the Word of Gospel to everyday people, especially during his pastoral visits. Did his philosophical knowledge help him to develop a more straightforward communication with people from all around the world? We believe it did, and that philosophy can be of great service with spreading the message of the Gospel. Furthermore, the reason why we are dealing with philosophical topics in the work of St. John Paul II in this paper, lies also in an effort to show how philosophy has a strong practical aspect...
