Sažetak
This paper presents conceptual picture of new stability control possibilities in power system control center. Future state of power system operations and control, concerning stability assessment, is described and compared to present state. New technologies have raised the possibility of developing much faster and more wide-area stability control that can allow safe operation of the grid closer to its limits.
