Sažetak
Information behaviour can be defined as study of possible ways in which people need, search, use and share information in different contexts including workplace and everyday life. This paper gives special emphasize to the information behaviour of students. Students' information behaviour encompasses seeking information in purpose to accomplish certain tasks during the study such as seminars, final works, courses, workshops or even creating of research and scientific articles. Today’s students usually seek information in following four ways: through Google search engine, through libraries' OPAC- Online Public Access Catalogue, through electronic databases and through digital libraries. In the paper are presented the results of conducted empirical research among students of library and information sciences at University of Osijek regarding their information behaviour in seeking scientific and professional information.
