Sažetak
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept that has emerged from a vision of an always connected world. The IoT is still in its early but rapid growth stage and has the potential to penetrate a wide range of verticals in the next 5 to 7 years. In the present paper, we report the main outcomes of some analysis performed in the context of European project COMPOSE - Collaborative Open Market to Place Objects at your Service (FP7-317862). In particular, we will focus on: (i) the existing, main technology drivers and barriers, (ii) the identified IoT value propositions and (iii) the assessed key customer benefits.
