Sažetak
Headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME) followed by GC-FID/MS was used for screening of dandelion (Taraxacum officinale Weber) honey headspace. Two fibers were selected taking into account total number of isolated compounds: DVB/CARB/PDMS and CAR/PDMS. The major dandelion headspace compounds were nitriles such as 3-methylpentanenitrile (1) and phenylacetonitrile (2) with minor abundance of 2- methylpropanenitrile (3), 2-methylbutanenitrile (4) and 3-methylbutanenitrile (5). Total percentage of nitriles was higher on CAR/PDMS fiber in comparison with DVB/CARB/PDMS fiber. 2-Methylpropanenitrile, 2- methylbutanenitrile, 3-methylbutanenitrile, 2-butenenitrile (undetermined isomer), 3- butenenitrile and 3-methylpentanenitrile were previously identified in dandelion honey [1] that is in accordance with our results. Nitriles have also been tentatively found at low concentrations [2] in the honeys from rape (2- methylpropanenitrile), thyme (phenylacetonitrile), rosemary (3- methylbutanenitrile and phenylacetonitrile), loquat (several shortchain nitriles) and in Greek cotton honey (neryl and geranyl nitriles).
