Sažetak
Vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSEL) can be used to transfer broadband signals in environments with high levels of electromagnetic noise. A 3-port equivalent circuit model of a VCSEL is developed, using a combination of Y-parameters and mixed-mode S-parameters. The effects of the asymmetry in the equivalent circuit model on the common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) are examined.
