Sažetak
In the context of the actual critics toward some ways of adolescent identity measurement we try to assess construct validity of the U-GIDS) for the measurement of occupational and relational identity statuses, as well as we have asses the subscale ERIDEN for the measurement of global identity. For occupational and relational identity scales two factors were obtained: commitment and exploration. These dimensions are highly correlated, so it is very hard to find out four identity statuses (diffusion, foreclosure, moratorium and identity achievement). The best predictor of global identity is incompetence, while the best predictor of occupational identity is persistence, and the best predictor of relational identity is friendship intimacy.
