Sažetak
The lexicography process of the Rusyn language started with the compilation of bilingual Serbo- Croatian/Rusyn dictionaries continuing over the inverse process with the Rusyn language as the starting language. The fi nal target of lexicography is a monolingual dictionary of the national minority language. The Rusyn langue is with relation to languages of other national minorities in a specifi c position because it got standardized in this very region and not before. The fi rst grammar was published in 1921. The dictionaries started to be issued in the 50-ties when the Rusyn language became one of offi cial languages of Vojvodina. The fi rst dictionaries were professional, school dictionaries. The two- volume Serbian-Rusyn dictionary was published not before the 90-ties. It was a basis and a step towards the turning point in direction of making up a dictionary in which the Rusyn language was a starting language. The next step was the compilation of the Rusyn-Serbian dictionary that was issued in 2010. The main aim of the lexicography was the publishing of a monolingual language. It resulted in the compilation of a Dictionary of people’s Rusyn language, the manuscript of which was prepared for printing.
