Sažetak
Three major rehabilitation aspects in postmastectomy women will be discussed: restoration of physical looks ; psychotherapeutic treatment ; emotional life postmastectomy women. In this problem fields next aspects will be discussed as well: breast symbolization in female emotional life, socio-cultural inheritance, the importance of body image to women, providing a breast prothesis, shoulder joint and environs &#8211 ; prevention of contracture, physiotherapeutic treatment of early postoperative treatment, gym physiotherapy (individual and group), exercises to be performed after having been released from the hospital, written instructions for arm protection at home in their daily routine, prevention of lymphoedema and treatment of lymphoedema, reintegration of postmastectomy women into their family, working and social settings, the meaning of , examples of positive responses of such club members and psychological group support, regular club meetings and excursions on a monthly basis. All the three rehabilitation aspects in postmastectomy women are regarded as equally important.
