Sažetak
Tourism is an activity that undergoes constant changes. Tourists are now more demanding and only expert personnel can qualitatively respond to their demands. In sports tourism this means increased demand for sport experts. The authors wanted to identify these experts and characteristics they need to have so they could do their jobs in a more qualitative way. The aim of this paper was to research what the legislation prerequisites for becoming an animator are, as well as to collect the opinions of prospective future animators. The research encompassed sport animators and their characteristics since they are in close and direct contact with tourists.
