Sažetak
In this paper, the radiation patterns and mutual impedances of rectangular probe-fed patches are studied using the spectral domain approach. The patches can be located on the top of or inside a multilayer circular cylinder assumed to be infinite in the axial direction. A two-dimensional Fourier transform is applied to the fields and currents and the Green's functions of the multilayer structure is evaluated in the spectral domain. The unknown current distribution of the patch is calculated using the moment method with entire domain basis functions. Calculated results are validated with measurements on an experimental model built at the department.
