Sažetak
In the academic year 2000/2001, as part of the course in Town Planning III and IV, fourth-year students of the Faculty of Architecture worked on the assignment Urban Reconstruction of the City of Zagreb. The central part of Zagreb was analysed in detail, resulting in a model of the city (between the railway line and the river Sava) and many computer presentations showing the development of this area, evaluation of existing conditions and guidelines for future interventions. After the analysis was completed, the students chose locations that at present do not have a firm urban definition and made architectural and town-planning suggestions for projects whose main starting point was to increase the quality and pleasure of living in Zagreb. The exhibition of student works entitled Zagreb ? Urban Transformation was opened on 28 June 2001 in the exhibition hall of the Faculty of Architecture.
