Sažetak
In accordance with the performed analyses of the found situation, it can be concluded that the specific area of the Nature Park Kopački rit and the local community presently do not benefit from this protected area in the sense of the possible development of tourism, but that the situation could be changed significantly through the development of complementary ecological and rural tourism. This requires a good strategy, investment and advertising, for which the local community has neither the staff, nor the organizational and financial capacity. It must therefore rely on the help and on the plans for the development of tourist offer proposed by the Unified Detailed Plan (JUPP) and on the regional tourist offer, both of which find their own interests in the development of tourism: improvement of programs, more accommodation facilities and numerous non-material benefits arising from cooperation with the local population (arrangement of the environment, friendly relations with the visitors, preservation of the natural wealth and its protection from damage, etc.).
