Sažetak
There have not been any descriptions or data about stress fractures in skating. The aim of our investigation was to obtain information about frequency and stress fractures localization from world top level figure skaters in a form of questionnaire. In 9 of 42 ones typical symptomatology and objective verification of these syndromes were found. All the fractures were located on the so called jumping leg. Overtraining, fatigue and anatomic foot anomalies are additional factors. Syndrome prevention include training control, correction of existing foot anomalies and prompt observation of initial syndrome stage occurence.
