Sažetak
An aquifer that is currently supplying the City of Zagreb with potable water is exposed to contamination and on the verge of being overpumping. Thus, investigations have been undertaken in deeper deposits. Interpretation of geological structure and lithologic composition of the deposits has revealed deeper water bearing layers which might play an important role in the future water supply of the city.
