Sažetak
The purpose of this lecture was to provide an analysis of the institute of guardianship as a means of protection of adult persons with mental disorders in the Republic of Croatia, mainly from the perspective of the recent changes in the family law legislation. This lecture was also focused on elaborating the need for certain further interventions in the regulation of guardianship in order to improve the legal protection of adults with mental disorders.
