Sažetak
Electroplating from suspensions as a way for producing of composite coatings has already been described by the scientists from both sides of Atlatic. The present work discusses the case of copper deposition from sulphate bath with inclusion of inert and conductive particles as well as the properties of obtained composites. Experiments were performed in cells with the agitation and pumping of the electrolyte suspensions. The influence of particles size, their concentration in the elecitolyte, current density on the degree of codeposition was determined. The effect of hydrodynamics conditions in the cell on the codeposition and mass transfer enhancement was also investigated. The quality of composite coatings surface was analysed as afunction oj the kind and concentration of the particles embedded in the metal matrix. It means, that the roughness, porosity, hardness and microhardness etc. were measured and correlated with particles density in the deposed coatings. besides this the mechanical and electrical characteristics were determined and compared with adequate properties of coatings obtained in the absence of the particles.
