Sažetak
The long-term influence of Romanisation brought about changes in beliefs and religious practices of the population in ancient Liburnia. Sacralisation of the rural landscape is particularly evident in the existance of cult places outside the city perimeters of certain communities. The paper analyses spatial data which point to the appearance of holy places (shrines/temples) in the Enona (Aenona) municipality ager. The cult of the dead also formed a part of religion, with necropoleis i.e. burial places as its essential part. Sacred places are considered, within the framework of settlement studies, as part and parcel of settlement practices in town ager.
