There is a much discussion recently about "Millenial" students. They are different from the generation that proceded them in regards with their expectations towards aplied teaching and learning methods, going after innovative teaching methodology and frequent usage of tehnology. They expect also a more interactive approach. In this article, being focused on the higher education experiences within marketing courses at Zagreb School of Economics and Management, the authors emphasizes that the professors must engage actively in the learning process, frequently using innovative teaching methods during e-learning and distance learning processes while engaging and motivating the Millenials, empowering learning through technology while using mobile devices, as well as frequently using different interactive qualitative research and learning methods in the classes. Within their research, the authors aimed to test the hypotheses that Millenials give an advantage to the innovative teaching and research concepts and that they prefer learning through technology in comparison with traditional teaching methods.
