Sažetak
The metodology used in this investigation is the intellectual history, which deals with the history of thoughts and ideas. The field of the intellectual which entagles with politics, that is to say, politicized cultural sphere is in the centre of research interests. It is the field of investigation where interaction of culture and politics occurs, therefore the political history is also very important for the framework of the thesis. The theme of thesis concerns the history of Croatian intellectuals from 1929 to 1945 who propagated the independence of Croatian state. According to the type of the intellectual, Croatian intellectuals are engaged intellectuals in this period, who dealt with the creation of political ideologies.
