Sažetak
For building a dependable and sustainable Spatial Data Infrastructure a solid academic and practical education for SDI users and SDI providers is necessary. The BestSDI project, which was funded by Erasmus+ program of the European Union and has partners from 17 Universities in nine EU candidate or potential candidate countries, has the goal to develop new learning material and courses for academic and lifelong learning courses. A survey for the demand of SDI education was conducted with the stakeholders. Existing curriculum and learning material status was analyzed by the project partners. A new SDI project curriculum was developed as well as the related learning material. The paper describes the demands, results and conclusion of this process.
