Sažetak
Educational integration is legalized in Croatia in 1980. Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation, University of Zagreb, researched through several scientific projects premises and effects of educational integration. Results of these studies showed that conditions in schools are still not in favour of educational integration. As an answer to this, professors and assistants from the Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation in Zagreb initiated, in 1994, the founding of an NGO named the Croatian Association for Professional help to children with special needs "IDEM". This paper will present a model of educational integration based on the results research and applied by the NGO "IDEM".
