Sažetak
The paper analyzes the place and role of journalists in the early 1990s in political processes in Europe. With reference to the war in Croatia, the article focuses on the Christian idea of unity among peoples and the commitment to social justice. Special attention is paid to media freedom, and it is concluded that by justified criticism and objectivity the journalists can contribute to the development of their own country and people, as well as to the faster inclusion and cooperation with the international community.
