Sažetak
Foundation of the first veterinary clinic in one of the most important events in the history of veterinary medicine in Croatia. The first veterinary clinic was founded after the visit of Croatian veterinarians to their Bulgarian colleagues in 1935, where the Croats were introduced to the very well organized system of the so called "lečebnica". After this visit to Bulgaria in 1936, Prof. Otto Koster, Ph.D., absolutely delighted with the idea of helping farmers, decided to establish such a clinic in Croatia, in the village called Oborovo, situated by the river Sava.
