Sažetak
With this paper proposal the author wishes to examine the role and the significance of glitch art in the current state of the contemporary art production. Leading to this discussion author will deal with the phenomenon of post-digital aesthetics and post-Internet art practice as well as he will try to contribute to the discussion some important distinctions between that which is called art and what is called art praxis. Arguing that the phenomenons like glitch art, virtual landscapes and the hunted space of vaporwave propose a new concept of the avant- garde for the digital age author will introduce the notion of digital art praxis as a necessary distinction over more or less conventional approaches to digital based art, computer art and cybernetic art. Understanding the concept of the aesthetics of error, redistribution of the sensible as well as the specter of the digital or huntology will lead us to certain conclusions about the nature of new art forms that rise from the saturation with the simulation based society. The digital art practice of the new millennium is undoubtedly strongly connected with the critique of the society of the spectacle, information and attention capitalism, simulation and the social engagement with the post-human, artificial intelligence as well as artificial forms of life itself. Therefore we will examine in this article the grounding theoretical background on which the new art movements rely on, the common misconceptions and crucial critical potential of the art in the cyberspace as we discover the digital landscape of the post-internet era no longer a purely visual, textual, sound or code based, no longer aesthetical but a sinaesthetic movement towards (re)new(ed) conception of art itself.
