Sažetak
The author discusses some possible new appearances of ambos and altars in the Roman province of Dalmatia, based on three fragments of early Christian church furniture from the islands of Pag and Rab.Two fragments from Pag, made of limestone, once belonged to an ambo installation. The fragment from Rab could be a part of an altar installation. The chosen monuments open discussion of the important issues of workshop origin, datation and new morphological and decorative elements of the early Christian ambos and altars in Dalmatia.
