Sažetak
Supply chain management is in the focus of today’s business process. Supply chain management is integrated approach for solving all movements of good form point of origin to point of destination. One of the pillar of effective supply chain management for sure is information and communications technologies. The main goal is to organize paperless freight transport within the framework of supply chain management. Because of the quantity of transport and ecologically impact the railway is very suitable part of supply chain management. In this paper was present two important case study for railway freight transport as the part of supply chain management: RailData and RailNetEurope.
