Sažetak
Optometry Practice is a very important subject for all future optometrists. Through the academic year of 2014/2015, mentorship was added to the subject 'Optometry Practice', being one of the most important components in the system of scoring that particular subject. At the begining of the semester, when professional practice begins, the student works on their client performing refraction, contact lens fitting and other activities that are a part of the practice. That whole process is very important in order to notice the disadvantages and difficulties particular students are experiencing. At the end of the professional internship, another one of these tests will be done by the mentors, concentrating on the mistakes the students were making the first time they did it. This way we're measuring the rate of their progress, ensuring that the students are improving and keeping track of the quality of their overall education. Thanks to this way of work, it can been seen a great improvement in the work of all students compared to the last semester, which was our goal all along.
