Sažetak
The purpose of this paper is to present a moderated concept of Sport Satellite Account as an filter of the National Accounts for sport- relevant activities to extract all sport- related value added while maintaining the National Accounts structure. Measuring the direct economic contribution of sport is based on the concept of Sport Satellite Account includes determining the demand for products and services associated with the sport, the analysis offers these products in the economy and the identification of supply and other economic activities, but also the extent of macroeconomic aggregates to describe the size and economic impact sport, consumption and the ratio of consumption and supply as well as the relationship of monetary and non-monetary data about sports. The contribution of sport to the development of society as a whole should be seen from the point of view of the impact of sport on GDP growth, the use of production factors and the impact of sports on the Balance of Payments.
