Sažetak
A basic purpose of intercultural education is to give students the opportunity to learn about the characteristics of people from different cultures and try to understand how those individual view the world. Each minorities students groups in the classroom needs appropriate textbooks and curricular materials, teaching methods as well as a good teachers who should promote a positive environment to intercultural education in their classroom. A modern school need a highly aware teachers who would be able to choose from among all the techniques and information at his or her disposal to create effective lesson that take diverse needs and interests of all students in the classroom. A culturally aware teacher will emphasize the way which his o her society has been enriched by the contributions of many different ethnic groups.
