Knjiga “THE SEPARATION OF POWERS IN THE CONTEMPORARY CONSTITUTION – Judicial Competence and Independence in the United Kingdom” autora Rogera Mastermana, profesora na Durham Law School, bavi se razmatranjem problema podjele vlasti u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu u suvremenom političko-ustavnom kontekstu, s posebnim osvrtom na utjecaj što su ga izvršile dvije recentne ustavne reforme koje se ogledaju u donošenju the Human Rights Act-a (1998.) i Constitutional Reform Act-a (2005.).
