Sažetak
Latest advances in technology and engineering research regarding timber as a building material will for sure have for a consequence a growth in timber construction around the world. As market is growing, opportunities for timber engineers are at a great scale. Nevertheless, with an expanding sector and lot of opportunities, mistakes in the design and erection of timber structures are inevitable. As a sector which is, in comparison with steel and concrete, only at the beginning, there is a chance to avoid or reduce these kind of mistakes to a minimal possible extent.
