Sažetak
International linguistic geography projects are of the great relevance for the analysis of language contacts and the promotion of language diversity worldwide. Furthermore, linguistic atlases that emerge from those projects help us in analyzing the position of minority and endangered languages, and thus indirectly protect their status in a wider linguistic area.
