Sažetak
Solar cells are one of the most perspective solutions for the future of electricity production from renewable sources. Dye sensitized solar cells are promising alternative for Si based solar cells, thanks to their low cost and simplicity of manufacture. PEDOT, as a conductive polymer, has gained a lot of attention as a material that can be used in such solar cells. Since it’s physical and chemical properties weren’t suitable enough, PEDOT:PSS was started to be used instead. As a result of added dopant (PSS), PEDOT:PSS is soluble in water, which greatly facilitates it’s future application. As a downside, electrical conductivity is drastically lowered. It is one of the main reasons for the introduction of 2nd dopants, in order to increase the electrical conductivity of the final solution. As the best secondary dopants, ethylene glycol and DMSO were used. The substrates that the polymers were printed on were also being changed ; PET foils, glass, cellulose substrates (nanocelulose, papers). With the use of conductive polymers, it is possible to print solar cells with high transparency and flexibility. Such solar cells can have usage in various surroundings, which increases their everyday application, as well as further development of existing technologies.
