Sažetak
The purpose of this paper is to present a new methodological approach to upgradingthe statement of Gross domestic product (GDP) growth rates and implicit GDP deflators. We construct Lloyd-Moulton-Törnqvist-Fisher (LMTF) model which improves GDP price-volume decomposition. LMTF supported Fisher index is also built. Our approach preserves the product test identity. We obtain some empirical results which show that LMTF supported Fisher index can be considered as ideal in the practical applications.
