Sažetak
Movement of fluoride gases has been studied for a number of years in a plant where aluminium is electrolysed. The primary emission of anodic gases trapped under the hoods of Hall-Heroult cells is subjected to dry scrubbing by means of alumina. Secondary emission, escaping from the cell into the hall, undergoes wet scrubbing. In order to record fluoride gases, a computer program has been developed to analyse all relevant data, yielding not only the balance of materials but determining the efficiency of treatment as well. The MATHCAD mathematical program package has been used in development of this computer program. This report dicusses not only emission of fluoride gases but their immission by the environment as a proof of suitability of the program examined.
