Sažetak
The main aim of this paper is to present the main characteristics of the tourist offer in the Zadar County, as well as to determine the profile of tourists, in terms of their preferences, who choose the destinations within this county for their holiday. After a brief theoretical background in which the main characteristics of the Zadar County will be presented, the authors will conduct an analysis of the present state of tourist offer by using adequate qualitative and quantitative indicators obtained from secondary sources. Based on the determined state, the authors will present which are the strengths and opportunities that Zadar County needs to exploit, as well as which are the weaknesses and threats that need to be minimized or completely removed. Also, with a goal of achieving higher level of recognisability as well as competitiveness, the authors will present potential measures important for future tourist offer development.
