Sažetak
The old ways of predicting the Internet behavior have become inadequate with the appearance of a whole range of new architectures, which introduce new applications and services. In order to asses these new architectures, it is necessary to be able to collect and analyze network traffic in an efficient manner. This paper presents IPNetSuite tool for IP traffic analysis. The main features of the tool are high quality measurements, collection and analysis of IP traffic, and emulation of WAN network conditions by using a single Linux-based workstation. The fact that all these functions are incorporated in one tool makes it a complete solution for network engineers. The tool has a GUI-based interface which, on the other hand, makes it easy to use. The tool can be used in a variety of ways and network scenarios including Mobile IPv6 setups, analysis of RTP-based applications and many others.
