Sažetak
The symposium embraces four papers that cover different topics on language development and language impairment. Although, these topics are frequently treated separately, there are also grounds for their common analyses. On the one hand, it is inevitable to know about language acquisition in order to understand language impairment. But, on the other hand, their processes could be so entwined and, as such, could have very profound effects o language knowledge - on children's linguistic and communicative competence. Bearing in mind that our final goal is to define more universal language processes both linguistic and cognitive, we will provide some more language specific analyses.
