Sažetak
According to earlier surveys, the average height of children and youth in the Republic of Croatia varies in different geographical regions. In this paper, descriptive statistics were used to present regional differences of the main body measurements of Croatian girls. This study includes 4002 girls aged 6-12 years proportionally distributed into five Croatian regions (Goransko-primorska, Slavonia, Central Croatia, Dalmatia and City of Zagreb). The data obtained shows that the growth of girls is linear by age and growth trends does not differ by region. The difference is in body height because girls from Dalmatia are higher than girls are from other regions.
