Sažetak
In 2012, one of the Croatian leading footwear manufacturer Ivančica Ltd., implemented SAP ERP system to optimize the business processes, the product quality and the process communication. With the developing business demands and the development strategy of the company, the infrastructure for the SAP and VMware environments needed a new setup. Ivančica moved to SAP Apparel and Footwear Solutions (AFS), migrated to SAP HANA and improved the IT infrastructure for SAP HANA. This helped to improve the business intelligence, improved the reporting situation in the short run and eliminated the production slowdown, the lower revenues and long waiting times during production process. In the future, the plan is for SAP HANA to drive SAP Fashion Management Solutions (FMS), the new and extended generation of SAP AFS and other SAP applications. This is the example of the one of the most complex SAP projects in Croatia. It started with the deployment of a consolidated infrastructure that can easily support an evolving SAP environment and a growing daily output.
